About the Study:

Clinical studies usually are not able to recruit enough individuals to explore differences within Hispanic/Latino sub-groups. This has resulted in a lack of tools and resources that are easy to understand and relevant for the diverse groups of ethnicities, nationalities and cultures inside of the Hispanic/Latino community.

University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers have developed a survey to assess the differences in knowledge and beliefs in Hispanic/Latino communities. Our goal is to use this information to create new education and programs that serve the needs of unique communities.

Data will be collected through a survey in English or Spanish, targeting Hispanic/Latino adults 18 years and older from diverse countries of origin.

Purpose:

The purpose of this study is to use this survey instrument in diverse Hispanic/Latino communities to learn what people know about Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
