Participants are eligible to participate if they fit the following criteria:
Families are welcome to participate regardless of whether the parent with memory impairment resides in their own home, with other family members, in a residential facility, memory care unit, or some other setting.
University of Missouri researchers are conducting a study to better understand the role of family dynamics in the health and well-being of adult children who provide care to a parent with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia (ADRD).
This study is currently recruiting two adult children within the same family to discuss their unique experiences of providing care to an older parent with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia.
Insights from this study can help to shape future prevention and intervention efforts aimed at improving sibling interaction strategies and the overall health and well-being of adult children caring for older parents with memory impairment.

Each participant can receive up to $95 in compensation. Participating in all parts of the study is voluntary.
