About the Study:

EPIC: Living Alone is a research project designed to assist people with early-stage memory loss who are living alone in the community, by providing early-stage education and skill-training sessions designed to reduce stress, enhance well-being, manage challenges, and plan for the future.

Purpose:

Project staff will gather feedback from participants about their experience to continue to improve programs for people with early-stage memory loss.

What is Involved:

EPIC Living Alone is a skill-focused program conducted over approximately 7 weeks. It consists of 6 Zoom based weekly group sessions lasting 2.5 hours each and 1 individualized Zoom based session lasting approximately 90

minutes.

Trained study staff conduct two assessments with participants – the initial assessment occurs within two weeks prior to the first group workshop session and the follow-up within two weeks after the last group session.
