About the Study:

This is an observational, virtual study. Participants will work with a researcher on Zoom or over the phone to answer survey questionnaires online. They will also share memories from caregiving verbally while being audio-recorded.

Study data will be kept private, and findings will be shared with participants and nationwide.

Purpose:

The purpose of this study is to examine links between caregiving experiences and health outcomes. Researchers will also be using responses to test out a new measure of “preparedness for caregiving.”

What is Involved:

Study participants will be asked to:

  1. respond to surveys about experiences, personal characteristics, and health
  2. share memories from life and care experiences.
  3. Talk to the researcher about their challenges and insights while caregiving.

Most participants complete this study in 90 minutes or less, although participants can take as much time as they want to for completing the study.

Participants will be compensated $50 for completing this study.
