Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this study, particaipants must:

  • Be an unpaid caregiver of an individual living with dementia
  • Be over age 40
  • Live in Arizona or Nevada

About the Study:

This study aims to examine the role that personal social networks play in well-being and resilience for those providing or managing care of someone with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia and to understand the experiences of people who are caring for those living with dementia.

Purpose:

The purpose of this study is to understand how networks can be used to best support caregivers of persons living with dementia. In doing so, researchers aim to develop better tools and resources to assist caregivers in their caregiving journey.

What is Involved:

This study involves taking part in an interview that asks about your experiences as a caregiver and the role your support network plays. The interview will take place over the phone. It will last approximately one hour.
