Eligibility Requirements

This study is looking for people who:

Are currently providing care on an unpaid basis to a family member or friend with progressive memory problems.
Are currently living with care recipient (defined as sharing cooking facilities).
Are 18+ years old.
Have the ability to participate via telephone or online video conferencing (Zoom).

About the Study:

CarePRO Virtual Plus is a research project designed to assist individuals caring for someone with memory loss by providing education and skill-training sessions designed to reduce stress, enhance well-being, manage challenges, and plan for the future.

Purpose:

The purpose of this study is to enhance delivery and expand the reach of CarePRO Virtual. Project staff will gather feedback from participants about their experience to continue to improve programs for family caregivers for people with memory loss.

What is Involved:

Across 24 weeks participants will:

complete up to 3 phone/Zoom research interviews with an ASU staff member.
participate in a 5-week caregiver skill building program over Zoom with other family caregivers and trained ASU group leaders.
participate in a 5 weekly coach calls with a trained ASU coach.
try out computer driven audio and video-based wellness experience.
participate in 3 booster coach calls.
join in a one-time focus group.
