About the Study:
ADNI is studying how quickly brain cognition and function changes and defining how best to measure these changes and sharing this information immediately with researchers around the world. Together, participants and researchers are increasing understanding to help lay a path forward for a better future.
The goal of the ADNI study is to track the progression of the disease using biomarkers to assess the brain’s structure and function over the course of four disease states.
What is Involved:
Participants will undergo clinical, cognitive, and genetic tests, as well as positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain scans and cerebrospinal fluid collection for approximately 5 years. To understand the full progression of the disease, ADNI retains participants for as long as possible.
