Registry grows in 2018– more members still needed to support research studies

As 2018 comes to a close, the Alzheimer’s Prevention Registry thanks you for your continued engagement in our quest to end Alzheimer’s disease before it impacts another generation. You’ve heard the expression “it takes a village.” You are our village. Your willingness to spread the word and consider participation in research studies brings us closer to a world without this devastating disease.

The Alzheimer’s Prevention Registry matches researchers with potential study participants. This year we partnered with nineteen researchers to connect them to Registry members who may be interested in participating in their studies.  We also welcomed 44,850 new Registry members, building our village to well over 330,000 people with a personal interest in ending Alzheimer’s disease now.

In 2019 we will need your help even more. New studies are launching every month. But 80% of studies are delayed because there are not enough people to participate. We can change this by growing the Registry and matching more members with potential study opportunities. Even if there is not a study you can participate in, you can be a strong voice for us.

Here’s how you can continue to help:

We must not give up the fight. Together we can create a future without Alzheimer’s disease.
